BII has organised a roadshow of seminars in conjunction with Punch Partnerships and Carlsberg UK to demystify the often complex subject of business rates and explore the great opportunities for driving footfall through The World Cup. A seminar of two halves!
The short, sharp, focused events are being run at Punch pubs up and down the country (plus the Daniel Thwaites Brewery Visitor Centre in Blackburn) in association with The Publican.
Each event will kick off at 2pm with rating experts Michael Yass from Fleurets and Victoria Trafford from Robert Clarke who will explain what the recent changes in rateable values mean in plain English and what licensees need to do to minimise their rates liability.
After a half time break for coffee, a team from Carlsberg UK will use their Four Key Pillars of Success – Awareness, Atmosphere, Speed of Serve and Sound & Vision – to explore how to make the most of The World Cup. The final whistle will blow at 4.15pm.
The first event is in Plymouth on Tuesday 23rd March 2010 and they run through to the end of April. Tickets cost just £10 and numbers at some venues are limited so early booking is recommended.
